FAQ’s

Run & Ride Faq’s

I’m nervous about racing around North Fork Park with all of the traffic - how is this being monitored?

Great question! The park officially closes the week prior to our event. Because of this, we will be the only ones there and will have plenty of volunteers set up anywhere the route crosses a road - just in case. But it is, in fact, a closed course.

What is the weather typically like?

The fall in Utah is beautiful and unpredictable. The first week of October at North Fork Park should be stunning. The leaves will have just peaked a few weeks prior and it should still be fairly warm during the day, and chilly at night.

is there a cut off or time limit?

Yes. Athletes are choosing their own timeframes upon registration. Each group will have a designated “Last Lap” cut off time.

Is there an age limit to participate?

For safety concerns of all athletes, and due to the nature of this event, participation will be limited to those athletes ages 14 & above.

What does it mean by ‘Timed Event’?

A timed event gives participants the opportunity to challenge themselves. Based on your ability and stamina, you’ll want to see how many complete loops or passes you can make in the timeframe you have chosen.

Is this chip timed?

Yes. The event will be chip timed in 2025 by Brooksee.

Can I participate with my dog?

For safety concerns of all athletes, and due to the nature of this event, dogs will not be allowed on the courses.

Can I do both the bike and the run?

Can I change from one timed category to another?

No refunds will be given if you transfer to a lesser time. All category changes must take place before the TRANSFER DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 18, 2024.
